Welcome and thank you for visiting! Putting together a web site where I can share my photos has been a goal of mine for some time now, and I hope you will enjoy them.

For those of you who don’t already know me, here are the basics as they relate to my photography: I was born and raised outside of Portland, Oregon and grew up playing in the woods of Oxbow Park. As long as I can remember I have had an appreciation for nature and its beauty.

 

 

 

Recently I began taking photos on my weekend adventures into the Columbia River Gorge and to the Oregon Coast. This hobby soon spread to nearly all of my trips and now there is seldom a time I don’t have my camera nearby.

Most weekends these days you can find me, my wife Jenna, and my trusty sidekick Cosmo the dog, romping through the Pacific Northwest. If I’m lucky I will be successful in capturing a small piece of the magnificence this region has to offer.

The photos posted on this site are mainly taken in Oregon and Washington. However, some of you may also recognize scenes from California, Colorado, Hawaii, and Arizona. I have also been on a recent trip to Japan and Thailand and this summer I will go to Mt. Ranier and to Rock Mountain National Park.
